Brooks Fitness
Brooks Fitness is a personal training and group fitness service across Bury, Ramsbottom and Rossendale, delivered by sister duo, Kate and Ruth Brooks, level 3 qualified Personal Trainers. Services include: one-to-one personal training including pre and post-natal personal training, group training, exercise programming, nutritional advice and general health and well-being guidance. We offer PT services on a mobile basis, as well as at gyms we both work from, and deliver various group exercise classes in the community too.
A bit about Kate…
Hi I’m Kate! I work as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, specialising in pre and post-natal exercise. I offer personal training on a 1-2-1 and small group basis at Station 22 in Waterfoot and on a mobile basis across Rawtenstall, Ramsbottom and Bury. I also deliver group exercise classes in a variety of disciplines, alongside pre and post-natal specific sessions. I love what I do… supporting people to improve their health and well-being, and women through their pregnancy journey and post-natal recovery is a privilege. I’ve worked with so many people, women over the years… all abilities, and pre and post-natal stages, each with different goals and motivations to train. My approach and nature is supportive and encouraging, pushing people to progress within their limits, and achieve their strength, fitness and well-being goals... whilst having fun!

1-2-1 & Group PT
1-2-1 and group personal training sessions are centred around helping you achieve your health and fitness goals. Whether that’s to improve fitness and endurance, lose weight, build muscle and firm up (tone), improve sporting performance or get in shape for an upcoming event, such as your wedding. Sessions are designed to support you to reach your finish line and go beyond, helping you to make sustainable and lasting lifestyle changes.
Pre & Post Natal PT
Staying strong and active through your pregnancy has so many benefits for both you and baby. Helping to minimise pregnancy related aches and pains, stay strong in body (bump) and mind for labour and can support with speedier recovery. Not to mention needing to be strong to carry baby, and the million (heavy) baby things… focus is on maintaining and building strength through your posterior change (back of body / posture muscles), core and pelvic floor and this is the case with post-natal exercise/PT too, supporting you with rehab and recovery.

Group classes at Station 22
Group exercise is a great way to get fit and have fun; meet new people, make friends and form strong bonds as you build and burn! Barbells, Kettlebells, Legs, Bums & Tums, HIIT and more… there’s something for everyone. Read more about the classes on offer here: bit.ly/Station22Classes

Mum-to-Be Bootcamp at Station 22

Mum & Baby Bootcamp at Station 22
This is a group exercise class for mums and babies, delivered in 4-week blocks. A chance for mums to come together, exercise and get that all-important ‘me time’ and a big dose of feel-good endorphins, whilst supporting their postnatal rehab and recovery. Buggy Bootcamp at Stubbylee Park
This is an outdoor class suitable for pre and post-natal women and anyone looking after wee-ones. Bring your baby in their buggy or carrier and exercise in the stunning surroundings of Stubbylee. Meet other mums, make friends and get a big hit of feel-good endorphins and vitamin D. Whatever the weather we get stuck-in, soak up the fresh air and have lots of fun.
